There are only 3 parts of Laser Engraving equipment;

     1.) A Laser
     2.) A Controller and
     3.) A Surface

How it Works:

The laser is pencil like, and the movements of the laser head is driven into the surface by a controller which is a computer system. The process is very precise and the engravings are done almost perfectly.

The X-Y table is the most common laser engraving equipment.

How the X-Y table works:

Stationary is used as the work piece while the movements of the laser are driven into X and Y directions, which create vectors.
