It is mainly used for industrial manufacturing applications and is technology that is used in order to cut materials. A high powered laser is directed by the output, which is used by a computer, in order to be cut. The edge is left with a high quality surface finish after the material is blown away by a jet of gas, burns, vaporizes or melts. The laser cutters are then used to structure and pipe the materials as well as cut flat sheet materials.
